Running a company

Build a team under one brand: invite pros, set what each can do, and choose how they're paid.

What a company is

A company is a team of pros working under one brand. The owner can dispatch jobs to members, set what each person is allowed to do (their role), and record how each person is paid (their pay & money terms). Members keep their own profiles and ratings, which roll up into the company's public page.

Good to know. A company doesn't replace your personal pro profile — it sits alongside it. Clients can find and favorite both.

Forming a company

In the app, open your profile tab (bottom-right) and tap Create Company. It takes about a minute:

  1. 1

    Open Create Company

Profile tab → Create Company. You become the owner.
  2. 2

Name it and pick a web address

Choose a company name and a slug for your public page (e.g. traeos.com/c/your-company).
  3. 3

    Choose the services you offer

Select the trades and services your team covers.
  4. 4

    You're live

That's it — you can add pros and start dispatching at any time.

Adding pros

Open Manage Company → Add a Pro. There are two ways to bring someone onto the team:

They have a code

Ask a pro for their 6-character connect code, enter it, tap Find, then set their role and pay and send the invite. They just accept.

Share your invite

Share your company invite code (or the traeos.com/join link). The pro enters it in their app, which sends you a request. You set their role and pay when you approve it — not when you share the code.

Roles — what each can do

A role controls what a member is allowed to do. It is separate from how they're paid.

Admin

Full access — dispatch, manage the team, see and edit company money, edit the brand and assets.

Dispatcher

Can assign and reassign jobs to the team. No money access.

Bookkeeper

Can see company money and earnings. Cannot dispatch.

Office Manager

Can dispatch and manage company money (view + edit). Cannot manage members or the brand.

Field worker

Does assigned jobs. No team, money, or brand access.

Pay & money

Pay terms record how money works between you and a member. They're separate from a member's role, so you can mix and match.

Employee (field tech)

You own the job revenue and pay this person an hourly wage outside Traeos. They do the work but don't see customer pricing. Hours can be tracked in Traeos for your records.

Subcontractor

This person keeps a share of each job; the rest goes to your company. They see their own jobs and earnings.

Independent

This person runs their own book under your brand and keeps their own earnings. Their earnings stay private from the rest of the team.
Traeos never runs payroll. These terms are for your records and for what each member can see. You pay your team outside Traeos — Traeos never moves wage or payroll money.

Joining a company (for pros)

Got an invite code from a company owner? Here's how to join:

  1. 1

    Sign up as a pro

Download the Traeos app and create your pro account.
  2. 2

    Open Join a company

    Profile tab (bottom-right) → Join a company.
  3. 3

Enter the code and send your request

The owner gets a request to review.
  4. 4

    You're on the team

The owner approves it and sets your role and pay.
Tip. You can always see your own terms under Your pay & terms — nothing about how you're paid is hidden from you.
