Setting your service area

Pick the zip codes you cover with the radius tool, and switch coverage on or off anytime.

How coverage works

Your service area is the set of zip codes you're willing to travel to. Clients only see you for requests inside that area, so getting it right means more of the right jobs and fewer drives you don't want.

Good to know. You can update your service area at any time — it's not locked in at signup.

Adding zip codes

There are a few ways to build out your coverage:

Radius tool

Drop a center point and a distance, and every zip code within that radius is added at once. The fastest way to cover your base.

Browse by area

Prefer to be precise? Browse by state and county and pick exactly the zip codes you want.

Add individually

Add or remove single zip codes to fine-tune the edges of your coverage.

Groups & toggling coverage

You can organize zip codes into multiple groups and turn each one on or off independently. That makes it easy to flex your coverage without rebuilding it.

  1. 1

    Create a group

Bundle related zip codes together — for example, “Home base” and “Weekend reach.”
  2. 2

    Activate or deactivate

Toggle a whole group on or off. Deactivated areas simply stop showing you new requests — nothing is deleted.
  3. 3

    Adjust as your schedule changes

Widen your reach when you're hungry for work; tighten it when you're booked.

Tips for coverage

Be realistic about travel

Only include areas you'll actually drive to. Declining far jobs hurts your responsiveness more than not seeing them.

Use groups seasonally

A “stretch” group you flip on during slow weeks lets you expand without permanently widening your area.
