Before you start
Joining Traeos as a pro is fast — most people finish setup in one sitting. Download the Traeos app (or tap Join as a Pro on the website) and create your account. Setup is organized into four steps, and you can save and come back anytime.
It helps to have a few things handy:

Services
Pick the trades and services you offer. This is also where you set up your pricebook — your common services with prices — so quoting a client later takes seconds. - 2
Service Area
Choose the zip codes you'll travel to. The radius tool adds everything within a distance in one tap. (See the “Setting your service area” guide for the full breakdown.) - 3
Background Check
Verify your identity and run a Checkr background check. This is what earns you the Verified badge clients look for. - 4
Get Paid
Connect your bank so Traeos can pay you out after completed work. No subscription, no monthly fee — you only pay when you earn.
Getting approved
Once your background check clears, your profile goes live and you can start accepting work. Background checks usually come back quickly, but timing depends on the screening provider — you'll get a notification the moment you're cleared.
Your first job
New requests from clients in your service area show up in your home feed. When one fits, you can review the details, send a quote, and get to work. After the job is done and paid, your payout is on its way.
